Got a pack of 3d emoji models (from Timmmnnn) and I had to immediately use them!
I used Cinema 4D to create this with color grading using Magic Bullet Looks in After Effects. I used Mixamo for the character animation, X-Particles' new flocking features for the emoji movement, and I rendered it in Cycles 4D.
